I know none of you are probably from Illinois but does anyone know if having insurance before you get a medical card if they will turn you away or take longer see I moved from my mom's when I was 18 but I stayed on her insurance so we just tell them I live with her still so now that I'm pregnant I want to get a medical card less stuff to pay for.... so will I be rejected for having insurance I don't want to lie to them this Time and say I don't have insurance when I do

You shouldn't be you will have both insurance your moms will be primary and the Medicaid one will be your secondary insurance so whatever your moms doesn't pay for Medicaid will. I'm still on my parents and I'm on Medicaid. It should work out for you.

usually when you have both Medicaid covers what your insurance doesnt. there's no reason why they would turn you away for having both

you shouldn't be turned away they usually just tell you to bring in your insurance card when you get it.
