how long after your newborns cord stump falls off do you give them a real bath?

I'd let it heal a little more but that's just my opinion you can still bathe him I just wouldn't submerge the belly button

well I had to wait because it fell out but wasn't fully done healing on the inside of babies belly button so if u open it and see a white lookin ball I wouldn't quite yet submerge her under water is what my ped told me
