How many of you guys did membrane stripping work for? I'm dilated to a 3 and just got it done this morning
honestly I can't remember even though it wasn't THAT long ago but I think it was a little of both I think mostly cramps and it got to the point It was hard to walk without them being super intense
Yes super helpful! Was it more of a cramp for you or total tightening in your uterus? @nyckolle00
I only had a few small BH contractions but trust me you'll know when you're in labor. my contractions I'm pretty sure woke me out of a dead sleep I thought at first maybe the were just BH so I started to time them and they started getting harder and closer together the longer I did it, that night I got a burst of energy and had to poop (sorry for the TMI) I tried laying on my side and drinking apple juice for about 30 minutes to see if it would go away they didn't so I started bouncing on my couch and doing squats here and there to make sure the contractions kept going I called my doctor around 1 they said it sounded like active labor but to wait to go into L&D till they hurt super bad and we're much closer together. idk if that helps or not lol
It didn't work for me! But it can take two days if I remember correctly. Fingers crossed for you!
I haven't had any contractions or anything my whole pregnancy! I don't even know what to look for lol. He did it about 2 hours ago @nyckolle00
I am dilated to a 3 and just got a membrane sweep this morning! @nyckolle00
braxton hicks r more tightening ...but real contractions r painful and unbearable and hard to get comfortable while having them I end up cussing about nurses and family members during contractions and apologizing later lol
