So my husband spoke to his mother about how I feel about her slick mouth saying " check the baby's ear color " & so on about the baby as if it isn't his baby π ... I told him it really hurts my feelings that it really hurted me ... yes she helped out during my pregnancy bought us stuff & gave us money but at the end of the day she's wrong, now that he told her stop saying stuff like that or I will not let her see us or the baby & she's turning the story around as if she didn't mean it that way... SO WHAT WAY DID SHE MEAN IT ?!?! .. My husband asks me why does it bother me so much ? because that's my daughters grandmother and she says slick things I Dont like, plus I Dont like how she takes care of babies . I want to keep the baby away from her but my husband says that's not fear . BUT I really dont give a f*** .. what should I do ? my husband wants no beef between me and his mom but she yet to say sorry . π

@katelynn, One thing I was told was to never listen to someone telling you how raise your child. You listen to your instinct and raise your little one the way you choose. my boyfriends mom wants to give my baby food when I want to wait so I'm not leaving him with her she'll get my boy sick giving him who knows what kinds of food.
my husband's mom bashes me and I'm pregnant she tries to tell me how I will raise my kid and it posses me off I know how I feel I won't trust her alone long with my lil one she told me she will be giving my kids the sex tell like hell no u won't u won't ever see the kid again
@120415kittykatt, If she's wrong he needs to realize she has to apologize. There's no way everything is going to be okay if nothing gets resolved and she doesn't admit fault. It later on could affect your marriage.

At the end of the day that's your child and if you don't want to bring her around its your choice. You truly know what's best not anyone else. She has to respect you and your decisions. Your husband probably doesn't want to be caught in the middle of what's going on.
Yea I will be raiseing her my way I been working with kids for 10 years so I hate when people say ur only 20 u don't know anything about kids I'm like I yes I do I been working with kids for 10 years
