With my son I woke up one morning and got up from bed and liquid came out onto the floor. I went to the hospital and they checked me out then sent me home. I started having contractions that evening around 10pm and went into the hospital that night and had the baby the next afternoon. I feel like it had to have been my water breaking or at least it had a leak of some sort (if that happens).

Go get checked out. Your bag could have not tore all the way. Samething happened to my to friend Chantele, he bag was punctured but didnt break all the way. They admitted her to the hospital and she delivered that day. If you wait you could get an infection and it could be bad for baby.

I would call or go. You have 24 hours after your water breaks to safely deliver. The rupture can leave you open to infection. If its a leak then you can go a few days with that happening. Always better to be safe.

If your water broke you would be having contractions and it would be an enormous amount of liquid that doesn't stop coming out. If your water is leaking it would be a smaller amount but it would be a consistent flow that doesn't stop like normal discharge would.

I would call or go in because if your water did break you would want to make sure baby is ok and not losing fluid

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
