My water broke at 9:30am i called my husband who was working.I showered dos my hair and put a little makeup on then he got home and we got the bags and left to the hospital,I wasn't having and pains so I went to the OB and they send me to the ER I got checked in a room and the doctor put a giant q tip thing up inside and scraped the inside top part of my vagina it hurt so bad.she said it was to test and see if it really was my water that broke. 20 min later she came back in and said "looks like we're having a baby today!"..they hooked up monitors and after 2 hours of zero contractions they moved me into a bigger room and hooked me up to fluids and petocin to induce me...I was having mild contractions which didn't hurt, it was now 6:30 and the first BIG contraction hit..and from then on they were non stop huge painful ones I would get through them by biting a t shirt and holding his hand..the nurse kept asking if I wanted the epidural..when I finally said I wanted it I was 9cm and a second later it started to hurt so bad I was screaming in pain,I felt my body pushing and I couldn't NOTA push because I was not the one pushing it was my body doing it on its own.."DONT PUSH" the nurse said and all the doctors rushed in..I'm not pushing I told her.. And they kept telling me not to, then the looked down their and said he was crowning..okay NOW push and after 3 big pushes baby came flying out they had to catch him, when the doctor that was suppose to deliver him came in right when he was already born and he was born at 7:05pm (35 min after my first big contraction)

Every experience is different & so is every situation no one can tell you exactly what is gonna happen. But when you get there if you're already in labor they'll register you & then setup your Ivs after that they'll check you & go from there.
