Its pretty sad. Ive mentioned this before but for some reason its getting to me. I have had four kids, this is my 5th...I have never had a single baby shower. My family up north didn't throw me one when I lived in MA, with either of my daughters, and I never had one in FL because all I have here is my husband. Kinda makes me sad that I will never have that experience. 😔

If no one will throw one for you I don't see a problem throwing one for yourself, you shouldn't have to miss out in that experience

can you set up a registry for gift cards and have family/friends gift you those so you can do the shopping yourself? it beats feeling like you didn't get any help at all. and you can buy cupcakes and send them a picture along with the gifts you got with their gc as a thank you :)

Do it! Never think it can't be possible just because other people didn't do it for you. I'm sure you have neighbors and what not throw one for yourself. :)

You could throw an online baby's shower. Like me I have a lot of family and friends that don't live close anymore and an online baby's shower allows everyone you know to participate

@lilchicken, @tommy247 Although that sounds like a fab idea, I would have no one to invite...I have no family here, and honest to God, I am friendless. So, sadly, that wouldn't work.
