So my job(call center) has been known to target employees with any type of FMLA to get them fired in other ways and now I guess it's me. I don't call out a lot am always on time yet all of a sudden after being there for 18 months I start getting write ups for "performance" my supervisor even made the comment today that I may not make it to my due date because if I get another write up I'm on review for termination. I've worked all my life and never been one to rely on others but honestly at this point I'd benefit from it. The insurance is crappy I'm out of pocket $1200 and was just informed because I'm due in 2016 I have to pay another deductible to have this baby. Maybe I should get fired so Medicad can be a secondary insurance and pay this balance I have and other fees I'll have like an epidural and c section

Yes good choice, because lord knows that bill is crazy expensive ! Good luck to you

that really sucks. but the deductible thing is normal, I have amazing insurance and have to pay the deductible for this year and next year when I have the baby. idk what the laws are like there but my state is an "at will" state so they can fire you for any reason and not get in trouble, because they can say its anything else.

Omg I worked in a call center also and girl I completely understand that how my supervisor started doing to me he would write me up for going to the bathroom and for everything @marce88

@mylittleprincess, I don't have an issue with the deductible I was just annoyed because I asked billing several months ago what my total balance was for 2015 &2016; and they didn't include it so I thought I was at least done with my payments. Oh well and I don't plan to return to that job anyway it was intended to be temporary so it's whatever lol

@jujulove13, yes its sad the things they come up with to write you up for. I'm due in February so I'm sure they will find a way to term me before then

I know the lady in HR said I would be able to qualify for fmla and something else by the time I gave birth which would be in may and it's a huge issue because my supervisor had put me on a 2 week probation then when it was over he put me on a 3 week written warning for no reason it sucks

@marce88, oh well that sucks. I know some places are terrible with FMLA.
