this is very advanced thinking but I do worry xx just wondering if anyone has had their little bundle of joy and could help: its regarding money during maternity leave really? are we entitled to benefits? I am married (husband out of a job but should have one by then ) and we private rent xx any help would be great: I've tried the calculators but I cant get my head around it xx thanks in advance xx

depending on where you live in the UK, you may be able to get housing benefit to help pay your rent. try using a benefit calculator online.

Child Tax Credits and if you work then possibility of working tax credits. Do a search for HMRC Tax Credits calculator and put your details in. Also, if you earn under £40k you will be entitled to full children benefits of £81.20 per month. Hope that helps. @cheryltomkinson1985

If your husband doesn't have a job then you will probably be entitled to something. If he gets a job then probably not. my wages dropped by 2/ 3 on maternity leave and I had no idea how we could suddenly lose over £1000 a month. But you do manage. I only went back towork part time and am only earning about £100 more than maternity pay....I've just had a pay rise but for the last year it was only about £50 more than maternity. With the cost of childcare it's just not worth returning back full time ! good luck. I'm sure you will be fine thou x

Short Luteal Phase?

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
