Usually when you have heavy or long cycles, you ovulate later in your cycle, which can cause you to have a short luteal phase ( the period after ovulation but before your missed period) 👍🏼 it can make it harder to get pregnant that way.

You could also try taking a vitamin called vitex. It has been showed to regulate your periods as well :)

it'll help regulate your periods. once it's regulated you can stop taking it. it's just a faster way to get pregnant.

you can stay off birth control and let your body naturally go back to normal. which should here soon. or you can get on the pill. and that will also help you get pregnant faster once you stop.

as long as your checking your cervix daily and you know when your ovulating, you should eventually get pregnant. I was trying for months. decided to stop trying in October. I tried not too look at my calendar. then after Halloween I realized I was a few days late. which happens with my period at times. so I took my digital and bam it said a pregnancy. I'm like Holly shit. waking up my husband. it says pregnant it says pregnant. so took two other digitals positives came up fast. I made an appointment. took other test just to help me get through the month. still positive. it felt to good to be true so I had to keep checking. but I was very happy to see the babies at my first sonagram with two heartbeats.

actually, they say it takes 6 months to a year to get pregnant. I would go ahead and try. once your period is back to normal you can mostlikely get pregnant. I was on it. I got pregnant with twins after 5 months. I'm now 9 weeks. I didn't think I could get pregnant and I tested every month. just keep your head up. it will happen. the shot just really sux. and your hormones go all wacked out. I had just stopped taking it cause I was so tired of birth control. figured it was okay if we did get pregnant.

I'm on the dreaded two week wait now! So sometime around Christmas I'm hoping for my BFP 😁👌🏼

We are ttc as well! I've never used birth control but I'm still breastfeeding my youngest so I'm hoping that isn't getting in the way. Good luck :)

SMH I swear depo is evil no birth control should be so strong it takes years after one shot to be completely detoxed from it
