So shortly after using the loo... I head back to the living room and feel this tightening in my upper abdomen. Never felt it before, is that what Braxton Hicks can feel like?
@shannaa24, yeah congratulations on the twins. It's fun and you have a built in best friend. But it just depends on your body. I'm wishing you have a beautiful and healthy pregnancy that's full term.
o I didn't even know that. same here. I carried my son till I was 43 weeks. I'm hoping to carry my twins for as long as possible. they say you can have them between 32-37 weeks. that kina makes me nervous. so hopefully I'll have them at 37 weeks or further. that's awesome that your a twin.
@shannaa24, you technically can start Braxton Hicks as early as 6 weeks but can't feel it until later in 2nd half of pregnancy. It's the the body practicing for the real thing. And I talk to my mom. Everyone in my immediate family (aunts, mom, sister) carry full term. No history of preemies and usually we carry late. I was an identical twin and was almost 3 weeks late. My sis carried her first to 42 weeks and her 2nd to 40 weeks and all my aunts were either on time or past their due date
I'm hoping it's just a muscle spasms, cause its way too early to have your baby. could have just been cramps after using the bathroom. when I was pregnant with my son. my husband was driving I'm in the passenger seat feeling like I was going into labor because apparently I had to poop really badly. and that happened a few times throughout that pregnantcy. this pregnancy I'm dealing with cramps and back ache alot. I don't have regular stool. it's either diarea for a couple of days or I'm constipated. hopefully this will clear up. doctor said it's due to the hormones.
@shannaa24, thanks for the clarification, but I'm only 23 weeks. Just curious if what I felt was Braxton Hicks or just a muscle spasm.
yes. they'll be made minor, compared to actual contractions. you'll defiantly know when the real ones hit. you'll clinch up when they come, and they'll come close together, several times an hour. tightening around your waist and stomach. sometimes nerve pains shooting down your legs. but you still might want to call your doctor to talk with them about it. sounds like you'll be having your baby in a week or so? I had braxton Hicks for a week till I went into labor. I was running back and fourth to the hospital all that week, and being sent home. then one night I was having so much pain, it would come and go. but I didn't know if it was labor or not because I kept being sent home. it was my first baby so all new to me. I barely slept all that night. my husband had to rub my lower back and keep pressure on it. if I would have known that was labor I would have went to the hospital that night. so I went the second day. finally they felt me and I was admitted. finally after a week of braxton Hicks and feeling like I was in labor. that was 4 years ago. and now I'm pregnant with twins. so I'm not sure if this will go the same route or differently.

I've never met such a nasty group of females. Tearing other woman down, for what!? Do you feel better about yourself! While the rest of the world is fixing each other's crowns you bunch are knocking other woman's off. Shame on you hope if you have daughters they never run across a female like you.
I'm still trying to get a feel for this app but are there any STAHM here?

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .
Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...
thank you.
