Experiences with pumping for induction? I am just curious

I attempted at it, the third day after I did it I had terrible contractions but it didn't make me go into labor.

I did it with my first, it definitely helped.

Ok, Did it help by causing the contractions and dilating? Was that what it seemed to do? @kcamps @arielmarietalks

It gave me contractions, which helped a little with dilation. But I also did a ton of walking around the birthing floor. But it kept my contractions consistent so that my body could dilate or even thin.

No it didn't help with my dilation unfortunately. When I did it I was 60% effaced and 1 centimeter, I got induced a week later and I was still stuck at 1 centimeter and 60% 😕

@arielmarietalks, the contractions were so close you ended up going into hospital? How far along were you at this point @arielmarietalks

I was actually in the hospital! Lol. I was 40 weeks exactly! But it took a few hours for them to get close together. And it's ok! Hahaha

It's soemthing that can totally induce labor right away it seems and that totally scares me! My moms friend is on her 5th child and was like pump and it'll cause contractions and you will dilate but I'm a total wuss and it scares me lol @arielmarietalks

Oh snap! It won't happen quickly if you do! Lol. But it's ok to be scared! Do it whenever you're ready!
