So I just started taking my birth control pills last Sunday at 6 weeks post partum. My menstrual cycle came on for the fist time since giving birth this past Thursday. Should I have continued taking that weeks pills or started taking the cycle week pills? I hope that makes sense

I would start taking the cycle pills by what day in your cycle you are on and go from there but that's me.
