As the days go by, breastfeeding gets a little easier! Found out she is tongue tied, not severely but her latch is fine with me. She's definitely getting enough because her diapers are constantly wet and dirty lol. I love that I've been able to do this, even though it's only been 5 days 😊
My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

My baby girl does not let me do anything all day 😭 I'm lucky if everything is done before my s.o gets home , she cried so I pick her up to feed her and change her diaper and once she's on my breast she eats and I burp her put her down and she'll cry I get her again and she's on my breast not even latched on just smelling my boobs 😭 I'm like girl really lmao she wants me to carry her or be with her all day , girl I wish I could lmao

hmm i want to say that the doctor said that they wouldnt have a problem afterwards but im not too sure ..i cant remember exactly what she said. @arielmarietalks we are waiting until shes older. my younger brother was tongue tied but my parents didnt do anything about it til they noticed it was effecting his speech @arielmarietalks

yeah for sure mention it..cuz her doctor said we can have it snipped now cuz its just a minor procedure i think she said it takes less than 5min to do but when they get older (toddler) it becomes more of a surgery @arielmarietalks

@thehowtohippie, really?? I do have one too! have spoken to 3!! my son hurt me while breastfeeding (when I could) because he was teething (he's only 4 weeks and has 2 teeth poking through! it's crazy!) his latch was great but he chewed and would hurt me so I just pumped and gave it to him. but while I was in labor they gave me benadryl and my lactation consultant told me some tricks to help it come back, but it's not coming back enough.

same here my daughters is also in the back so it hasnt caused her any issues but her pediatrician said it could cause her some with speech but we wont know till she starts talking @arielmarietalks

@benjismom, see a lactation consultant to be checked. If you can't get a good latch or there is constant pain while nursing could be tongue tie

I don't know. If it doesn't cause her any future problems in life when she's older I won't. Hers is in the back of her tongue so it's not like super bad. @elenasmommy050315

my daughter is tongue tied too but havent had any problems with it. have you considered having it snipped?
