Did anybody else have troubles getting pregnant after coming off the Depo shot? HELP!!!
I was on the depo shot for about a year, I got off of it 2 years ago and have been trying and trying and trying for a baby and I still have yet to get pregnant. My period finally returned about 6 months ago but it still wasn't regular. Some months I'd have it, others I wouldn't. But finally 2 months ago, they became regular. So im really hoping that I will become pregnant soon!
But did anybody else experience issues like this coming off of the depo shot?

Yes a lot of people have issues. It really varies on how fast you get pregnant after. Some people don't have much trouble but others it takes years. It's a good sign that things are going back to normal so just keep trying.

I was and it took me 2 years. after a year of being on it, it has to fully leave your system. keep trying your time is near love.

Thanks ladies! I sure hope so! I was getting so worried that something was wrong with me. & my worse fear was that I'd never be able to have children.

Yeah, I had my last shot in July of 2013 and got pregnant in May of 2015. We started trying in earnest around Dec 2013- Depo is the devil....

Yes it is! @sam82 I would never recommend this shot to anyone who is planning on having children. I am so upset with how long I've been trying with no luck because of this shot! :-(

Kind of late, but just came across this post. I was on depo from 2013-2014 . Had this crazy insane like 4 week bleeding period and lost the weight I gained on it. Periods weren't regular for a good couple months couldn't track my ovulation correctly. We began trying in early April, after 6 months we began to feel down about it. Still tracked ovulation but didn't put so much pressure. I finally fell pregnant with my little peanut in late September 2015.
It takes time and varies with different women. Keep trying. You'll get your little one!

I got pregnant on depo with my first baby, if it's meant to be it will happen. Putting too much pressure on yourself can make conceiving hard. This pregnancy we had only been trying for one cycle and now I'm pregnant. Lol I guess that's what happens when you don't think much of it. I'm still shocked it happened the first time we tried.
