I plan on breastfeeding whenever my baby girl gets here. how hard is it ? and she's going to end up going to her dad's sometimes would it be hard to keep breastfeeding because of that ?
I haven't had any problems breastfeeding. but I think having a really strong support system is very important!
If you go back at 6 weeks I would keep track of feedings the week before to see how often baby eats and pump with that approximate schedule. Put it in the fridge as soon as you can then freeze when you get home or put it in the fridge if that's the milk baby will have the following day. Defrosted milk needs to be used or tossed within 24 hours of being defrosted so keep that in mind. Remember to label with both time, date and approximate oz when packaging your milk.
thanks and after 6 weeks I need to go back to work. so at work it would be every two hours max 4? and then keep it refrigerated until I can put it in the freezer ? @thehowtohippie
Pump while she's away every two hours, Max every 4 to keep up supply. It'll be ants for the first two weeks while your nipples get used to it. But it gets easier. Newborns are on the boob a lot but it won't be like that for long. Your milk will come in around 3-5 days pp till that you'll make colostrum. Your supply will regulate around 6-8 weeks pp. pumping amount is not an indication of how much milk you make its an indication of how much milk you can pump which are two totally different things
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
