Did any other moms NOT get the flu shot while pregnant?

exactly! my kids don't get it either. if it isn't required for school or isn't one of the normal vaccines they get at check ups they aren't getting it.

@mommabear3cubs, same here! I tell them everytime I do not want it and I don't want to hear their speeches. I've done research as well and saw the same thing there are so many strains, so there's no use injecting myself with something we don't need

I'm pretty much inside all the time too but my Dr still recommends it just to be safe

I'm inside 98% of the time so I'm not really exposed to it. but I told my boyfriend if he suspects he may have caught it bc he works, to take his behind to the hospital and get checked cause lord knows when I get sick I get SICK. I'm talking weeks on end of being full on miserable.

the dr's at my practice ask me every single appt and I tell them no and they spend 20 minutes of the appt trying to convince me to get one and I down right refuse. it is not 100% effective and flu strains are ever changing so I don't see a point.

You ladies make me feel much better about not getting it! I didn't get it with my last pregnancy and I never get it, I don't see the worth... It truly isn't nearly 100% affective @mommabear3cubs @mamaofangelbaby0610 @misskaebby @paige123

I got the flu shot but have gotten sick lately with some virus. it makes me wonder if I should've gotten it or if I should've just said no.

I didn't and I wont. I don't let my kids get it either
