@abella1023, I've wanted to do a homebirth for years and fortunately we don't need insurance to do so. Before we started trying to get pregnant we did explore our options and looked into insurance, but it was going to be more than double out of pocket if we went the insurance route, and then I'd have to see a regular doctor. I have years of horrible experiences with doctors (prior to transitioning to an all natural lifestyle) and was so stoked that we could safely avoid them and as an added bonus it's cheaper.

Yikes!! Sounds expensive! Why don't you apply for Medicaid?

What insurance do you have? My insurance sent me a brand new medela pump 😊
