Okay I have a burning question that needs to be answered. Okay, my first baby I lost her from the genetic disorder called trisomy 18. Is it likely I'll have another baby with the same genetic disorder? I'm asking just in case I'm pregnant again.

I lost my first baby to trisomy 18. When he was born instead of a funeral I chose to have the hospital take his body and do all kinds of tests to make sure my other babies wouldn't have it too. And then I was pregnant with my 18 month old daughter a year later I was just monitored closely and went to a regular and high risk doc. I also got a bunch of ultrasounds which was pretty awesome. And now I'm having another girl in a month and she is perfectly fine too. It's such a rare deformity that I doubt it would happen to you again.

is it the same dad? Or a different guy? I agree with PP, you should see a specialist to be sure. but I really hope all checks out incase you are pregnant :)

I had to see a genetics specialist when I was pregnant with my son because his grandma on his dads side lost a baby with a lot of complications maybe you could do that? it really eased our mind after seeing her
