I had to do the same thing. It was hard but at least you're not 36 weeks and trying. You still have time.

it sucks. I tried to help my husband since he already has a lot of other stress then all of a sudden I'm the bad guy. so now I don't get one unless I plan it myself.

i planned my first. the key is to do it asap not when ur close to due date. because ur body cant take it. i hosted my daughters bd at 32 weeks and i felt it was the absolute last week. so just do ur own baby shower. it will be fun. for my baby shower last weekend i was the one who cleaned before and after the party. i had help with the tables. and my inlaws and friends and sisters did all the food...i just made cupcakes bought the jellos and drinks and ordered the cake. hubby n bro in law carried it home.

i also bought all the centerpieces souvenirs tableware and decore...and game prizes..i wrapped those and directed all the games.

my husband wanted to do it but apparently I took over so now he isn't doing it at all. His sisters are surprised I was going to have another one since this is my second boy. I don't have any clothes from my first and they would all be the wrong season anyways. I would have to do it some time this month since his family will be in Mexico all of January.
