Throughout my pregnancy my baby has been extremely lazy but the last few days he's been non stop moving round with only around 30 minute breaks every now and again, could this mean anything or is it because he has less space that I'm feeling his movements more??

@mummywarwick, Oh I love Boursin too. I hadn't asked about that one, I may treat myself to some over Xmas with my fake wine lol wow that's great your mom was there then. A birth plan is just a list of things you write an opinion on what you'd prefer but obviously when the time comes things can change. Especially if you go into this with "a normal labour" in mind and end up having to have a c-section then the birth plan goes out the window. The nhs choices website has a downloadable birth plan you can use. It's where I've gotten my plan from. It's helpful as it getting you answer certain things that are relevant for a birth. X

@nashkay, I found out I could hav the bourson or however it's spelt today, goes fab on my ritz crackers! My mum was with both my sisters when they gave birth, good job with my twin as fetal heartrate was dropping and the midwife didn't seem to act on it, whilst another midwife argued with the perhaps not as on the ball as we'd like midwife, my mum turned to my sister and said we really need this baby now pushed her leg right back and coached my sister through it, Sofia came Shortly after, cord wrapped round her neck and a blue, but all good as she hadn't been left in distress too long! My sisters have said she was the perfect mix of midwife and mum, so I'm pretty sure she's going on my birth plan! As soon as I ask her what one is!

@mummywarwick, ahaha yeah I suppose you would feel like you're asking too many things lol bless. Omg cheese!! I was so pleased to find out I could still eat Philadelphia because it's made with pasteurised cheese. Best. Day. Ever lol x

@nashkay, my mum is actually a midwife, but I don't always ask her because i'd be on the phone every five minutes! I did call her today but that was to ask vital stuff, like what cheese can I eat! lol.

@mummywarwick, Yeah there's stuff to learn but you can always ask us or your midwife. I knew a lot because I've been there for all my aunts pregnancies, including her twins so most stuff isn't new to me. But if I'm in doubt I ask my mom or my aunt or my midwife x

@nashkay, no didn't sound rude at all! There is so much to learn in such a short space of time so any help /advice most welcome! x

@mummywarwick, That's okay. Hope I didn't sound rude lol I just thought you should know. Even thou usually everything is fine and baby's have lazy days as well as active days, it's always worth knowing that both kinds of movement changes should be watched. I have a lazy baby who only responds to food haha she's like me x

@sophiegreen, that's good it's normal. They do have active days and lazy days. My bubba didn't move much yesterday until the evening. But it was my first day of maternity so I wasn't awake at 6am like usual and I think it confused her lol x

My midwife was round for our normal appointment yesterday and she checked him and he's fine and when I mentioned his increase in movement she said its normal and there would be days where he'd be more active than other and less active but to still always report a change @nashkay c

@mummywarwick, No, that's not true. It's both ends of the movement spectrum. You should inform if there is less OR more movements. My midwife told me that increased movements can be just as much of a sign of something as reduced ones can. Especially if you haven't had anything particularly sugary or caffeinated when baby suddenly starts having lots of movement. Typically it's not anything but always, always, phone your midwife. In doubt, call. Always!! X

@winterbaby95, @nummywarwick yeah I was worried so I asked her and she said that you could never have too much movement and that as long as the movement isn't less then it's fine , but just wanted to see if anyone else had the same xxx

I'm pretty sure you should only worry if baby starts moving less, but if you're worried, call you midwife, better to have your mind put at ease than worrying!

I'm only ten weeks so am yet to experience the little one moving! xXx

Hun, don't want to alarm you in any way. But midwives say if there's any change in routine to get checked out. It doesn't just mean reduced movements, it means increased movements also. But it could be that he has less space Xx I would call your midwife :) x
