Might be a weird question... But do they trim your baby's finger nails at the hospital? I'm putting the final touches on…

No they don't they're too small they say to bite them but they shouldn't be cut that soon

My kids came out with really long nails but they say don't cut with a nail clipper don't want to make a mistake and cut them you can bite them it's safer

No I didn't do my son's til like 2 months just have the baby wear those little mittens to prevent face scratching

Ok let me know :) I want to be prepared in case things have change.. If not I will bring onesies with the mittens build in lol I'm terrified since I accidentally cut my son once.. (He's 9 now)

Best advice I ever got was to just bite them off. Clippers on my babies little fingers scared me, but when you bite them off you can feel how far down you're going and it's just so much easier.

I don't believe so because of the soft skin you can accidentally cut baby... I think they want you to wait a couple of weeks but I could be totally wrong it's been so long since my last

@mariahabigael, I am too! But I really don't want him to scratch his little face 😭 I feel like doing it when they're sleeping or solely with a nail file will help a lot
