i would wash it because of the dust

I'm choosing to wash them because it is baby clothe that other people have touched I'm doing it as a safety precaution & my nephew got freaking chocolate on two of his socks😒

for my son it was because his skin is so sensitive.

and also because baby skin is virgin skin...so sensitive

@lp1988727, I also want to preserve the softness for as long as possible.. and I can't afford baby detergent right now

I never did it and my kids are fine but everyone has their own reasons to why they like to its completely up to you

Good to only do some because if they baby is big, you can return the newborn sized clothes!

That's fine! It's good to get rid of dust particles and other stuff on the clothes. Hand Washing is great because their clothes are tiny!

I didn't with my others, but knowing how many hands have touched the clothes and how it's been in a factory for who knows how long I decided it's best to wash them ! @missyowl92

No fabric of any sort touches my son before it's washed. You never know who or what touched it at the store or if someone bought it and returned it. But that's just our stance on it in our household.
