I shouldn't say this but sometimes I feel like giving up or I can't do this. my son is 5 wks old and all he wants me to do is carry him. he screams bloody murder whenever I put him down. even sleeping is not really "resting" ftm feeling overwhelmed

My son did that till he was 6-7 weeks old. It gets better. Have you tried giving him a bath with that bedtime baby bath, then the bedtime baby lotion at night? I tried it and my son slept so much better. He's 10 weeks old and sleeps 5-8 hours a night. Good luck.

have you tried white noise? sometimes babies can feel scared when they can't hear your heart💖 white noise helps to keep them comfortable. don't give up, you are doing great!

I feel u that's how i was and still am at times if it was not for the fact that I have gotten used to carrying her around and being with her without any breaks lol I still co-sleep. Have you tried wearing your baby around? I do it for a couple of hours during the day and it's been helpful.
