How much are you girls paying to deliver? Does your insurance cover it all? We are trying to save our best but it is hard..
but you know you can call insurance and they will tell you right now what is being covered.
So don't stress about the money, everything will work out (: @ananasbaby
Thank you all @mumof2 @their.bomb.ass.mom @aphrodite2014 @donnathao @blessedw7 @babyboy1202 @alyen2
either way they have to deliver the baby whether you have the money up front or not. Then you can pay small payments until you pay it off
my husband won't tell me lol. he keeps things like that to himself 😳
I'm not even sure how much of the insurance covered. @ananasbaby
my insurance covered half. were still paying off the last delivery I had. lol.
my deductible is 6000, so thats how much I would have to pay before my insurance pays for anything. but that's after the delivery
@aphrodite2014, so I was wondering if anyone else needs to pay up front as well, and how much
Yes they told me they need a deposit of $3500, after I can see how much of that I can get reimbursed. My insurance told me the same
my insurance covers everything, but I'm pretty sure if you have to pay out that the hospital should work with you if it's something outrageous. when you get pre-admited for L&D ask to speak to registration or their billing department to get an estimate and your options
Just depends on your insurance, some women only have to pay a small portion, sometimes it covers it all. Also depends on how much the bill is.
@mumof2, my insurance is kind of special.. They won't tell me: I have to pay everything up front, and then turn in the receipts to see how much I get back. They are very unclear what exaclty their policy is, or how much they will reimburse. Upto now they have reimbursed everything however, including all the lab visits, ultrasounds (I've had 5 of them) etc. The hospital is asking me for a deposit of 3500 up front, after I have to see how much my insurance will reimburse.
