my son is a terrible nail biter. what can I do to get him to stop. his fingers are bleeding and he's still doing it.…

I used to use this clear polish for my nails that every time I put them in my mouth it tasted absolutely horrible.. but I couldnt keep doing it to myself so I stopped using it, but trust me I did not want to put my hands anywhere near my mouth.

yeah I actually do that now.. it's so bad!!! I hate that I do it, but the only time I don't chew them is when I have acrylic nails on them... maybe put a thick layer of acrylic on his nails??

hmm... then if it were me I would sit there and continue to smack his ha d out of his mouth until it annoyed the shit out of him enough to quit doing it.. he sounds as stubborn about nail biting as me lol

girl he don't care about getting smacked. and he will rip the band aids off. he rip them off when he get shots lol. my son think he's 10 maybe even 15 @thebroadwaybaby16

Smack (not hard) his hand out of his mouth every time you see him doing it.. he probably doesn't even realize it! I know I don't.... or put band aids on all of his fingers so he has to completely be aware that he's doing it
