Ok, I have a question. I'm 22 years old, and I'm trying to decide if I want to do the integrated screening.. I wouldn't do anything differently with my pregnancy, I kinda want to know but idk. I'm kinda stuck, any advice.
@theburleighs2016, My baby doesn't have a genetic condition, but he does have a type of congenital heart disease that is often not diagnosed until birth. I am soooo grateful we know now and have all of this time to prepare both mentally and with the doctors. That's just my thought process when it comes to all of the different screenings.
@rebcamdot, right. And I wouldn't. But that's what I am thinking too, allowing me to prepare in case there is something.
@theburleighs2016, Doing it allows you to prepare in the event there is something, it doesn't mean you have to do anything different with your pregnancy.
@thehowtohippie, right. I have autism in my family I know but I don't know anything about my dads side. @ananasbaby, that's kinda where I'm at right now. I'm just trying to figure out what other moms did.

I am the type who just wants to know.. Eventhough it wouldn't change anything for you, you could still mentally prepare

We didn't do it cause we have no history, so the likely hood of my son being effected is super low

What is integrated screening?
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

i'm getting my baby circumcised tomorrow & it makes me so sad. i want to do it but i don't want to see him hurting :( makes me cry every time i think about it
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Or stress out if there is nothing. They're not 100% not even like 90-80% correct. My cousin was told 100% yes your son is positive for downs. He was born 100% fine with no signs of downs what's so ever. He's now 5 and still has no signs of downs or any other developmental delay.
