Rant:
Yes. Again.
So my niece is almost 2 years old and almost always only drinks from a bottle still... She's at the point where she's biting the nipples off and breaking them... How do I tell her mom (my sister in law) that she needs to step it up and get her off the bottle without being totally offensive?
End rant.

Yeah, I didn't mean to come off judgmental at all. I'm just worried that she's gonna get worse. But yeah, I think I'm going to. ☺

Ohh Man that's a tough one ... Id say water down juice would be the best bet that's what I did ... It's a tough subject but maybe mention it to them in a way that doesn't offend them. Yea I'd w concerned to then. Hopefully they realize it ASAP.

Well, @foreveryoung247 you're very right.. But it's making her sick.. Like physically.. She projectile vomits almost everyday and the pediatrician even told her that she shouldn't be drinking more than 2 bottles of whole milk in a day... and she drinks anywhere from 8-12 a day. But her mom doesn't listen... You know? Like, I feel bad. Because when my son was drinking too much milk he would throw it up. And that's what the pediatrician says is happening. but they're not taking care of that, they're feeding more into her need for a bottle instead of worrying about her health... Does that make more sense as to why I'm so concerned? I should've added that in in the beginning.. I just don't want to see her sick, or develop an iron deficiency.. Which can happen. You know?

I don't think it's your place to say ... Honestly my son who has a disability would not sleep without one it took until he was 3 to wean him and some kids have sensory issues and it takes them longer .. Don't be so quick to judge, you never know the whole situation. It's hard and every child is different @xsyruuup_

Nope. Because she'll whine and cry and scream and throw things and scream BABA constantly. Until her mom and dad give her one.

using a bottle too long can cause dental issues. maybe you could casually bring up that you read that somewhere

If she has sippy cups fill it up with something and ask her if she wants to drink out of a big girl cup like auntie
