WTF how is the hospital going to call me 1 HOUR before I'm about to leave to get induced (my appt is at 8) & tell me…

I'd go in and act like you didn't get the voicemail and say you have a bunch of family here that were expecting to see the new baby. I'd be so pissed!

if you go in and say you've been having contractions they will monitor you in triage and if your not showing contractions or progression they'll send you home

@elliebelly yeah I had an appointment too and they did that to me. if you're in pain, go in. they give the rooms to people who are actually in labor if they come in before you! that's why they're pushing the time.

it's completely unfair!!! but they will send you home :( they did my sister in law the same way and she still went and immediately got sent home... but since inducing usually isn't even necessary, they will gladly post pone them for mothers who come in actually in labor... my sister was so upset, but she ended up having to wait almost 2 full days before theyd take her and induce.

yeah. I totally understand and I would be too but try not to stress.. like I said this is how it was supposed to happen and I'm sure this last night of good sleep and enjoying just you and your man will do more good than harm.. just make the best out of a shitty situation take a good long candle lit bubble bath with your hunny and y'all just be ready to leave your house in the morning!!(: its only a 10 hour difference in the time and most of that will be spent sleeping so it will go by so fast!! your little love will be here before you know it momma!! @elliebelly

I would go in if you've been in pain all day. they should have saved you a bed since you had an appointment. that's really messed up that they could just post pone your induction..

they'll send you home if all of their labor and delivery rooms are booked, that's why they're telling you to come in at that time to be sure you have a bed. I was pissed too lol. they kept having me call back every 2-3 hours and eventually called me to come in at 5:45 and got there before 7.

But can they really deny me if I'm having contractions and pains all day? Plus I can say the baby hasn't been moving much today.. I have people coming from out of town and tommorow at 6 just won't work.. They have to take me or I'm gonna blow up in there.. @kambriismommy

I would. but they will probably send you home and if its a long trip it may not be worth it.. If I were in that position i would not stress and get a good nights sleep with your husband and make tonight about yall and go in , in the morning. I know how frustrated you must be . but think how more frustrated you will be if you make it to the hospital and they do make you go home.

Only reason I wouldn't is because I wouldn't want to get there just to be sent home. But I would be so pissed that they called an hour before.. That's unprofessional.
