I really hope my son doesn't grow up confused because of how many languages there are in my SO…

It's actually very good for children to know more then one language it opens up their mind , my son will know two languages I wish we knew more to teach him it's really good for them!

los mios ablan los dos, en la escuela puro ingles en casa yo les ablo espanol para k lo entiendan y ablen bien. your baby will do fine. :)

@chela915, Si, así me crié yo también.. Español en la casa y inglés en la escuela pero eso eran dos idiomas nomas, junto la familia mía y la de mi novio son alrededor de 5, I know it's Good for him I'm just probably overthinking lol

I'll be speaking English and Pashto with my baby. My MIL only wants to speak Farsi, so that he/she will learn all 3! My younger cousin knows all three very well. Her mom taught her all 3.

@chela915, I'm sure it will. And no, my SO family speak Amharic and Oromo. I only speak English and Spanish.

I plan to speak only hebrew with my daughter and let her learn English in school. Her father is Ukrainian, and although he's not in the picture, I plan for her to take lessons. It's important to me that she knows Ukrainian, too.

I speak Dutch, my man French, and together we speak English :) so our baby will learn all three! I have been reading lots of books and they say its best to start as early as possible and be consistent :)
