OK.. well I'm breastfeeding and my SO wants me to start pumping so he can feed our daughter too but I don't want to stop feeding her.. it's like mine and her time.. and if I do pump one time I'm scared she won't want to nurse anymore... so I don't want to. is it normal to feel like this?
yes that's perfectly normal to feel that way. but don't you want a break? let him feed her. don't listen to that nipple confusion crap
I have a 3 week old and I pump.. Just like u, my husband wanted to help so I started pumping love the fact that I can sleep while he feeds our baby we take turns so that way we both have our good sleep
Its great he wants to help but if he can hold off until the 7th day of life it will be much better.
I had an IBCLC tell me its ok to give 1 bottle after the 7th day, preferably the last feeding of the night. I have to pump to supplement with BM, per pediatricians order. I've been feeding my daughter since Friday (born Tuesday) with both breast and bottle, no nipple confusion. She takes to both.
ohhh OK I didn't know that. well I knew about the 6 weeks and I tried telling my SO that and he wouldn't listen at first. but then I said some words and he finally left me alone about it @latia0321
Noo wait till 6 weeks she's getting used to your boob . If u pump now and let her use the bottle chances are she will get confused . Some babies won't take bottle .. Some even won't take boobs... So I think u should wait until after 6 weeks for her to get used and by the way u not supposed to pump before that anyways because it will cause oversupply and your body needs to know How much to make based on nursing her !!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

I would pump(after 6 weeks) if you want to. And if you do, do it when you're ready. Talk to your SO.
