‼ ‼ cervadil‼ ‼ Who had it for their induction. If so how long were you in it before getting your pitocin! I'm going on…

When I got it, I was a week and a half late and 5 cm dialated. I gave birth 3 hours after insertion. But my body was ready for labor. My cousin had it at 37 weeks and didn't get pitocin for almost 24 hrs because she didn't progress at all. Her body wasn't ready but she had to be induced for medical reasons. She delivered 2 days after checking in to the hospital. Good luck! I hope yours goes quick!!

i was given cervidil at 36 weeks (medical reasons) at 6 p.m and wasn't dilated at all. they started the pitocin 12 hours later. I had my daughter that night at 9 p.m. long labor! 26 hour's all together

I got it 39weeks 5days at 5pm and I was 1cm and they didn't give it to me until later cause I had him the next day (his due date)

i was 40 weeks 6 day got the cervidil at 10pm...i was at 1cm since 37 weeks & was checked every 3 hours (they said itd be in for 12 hours) but they took it out at 6am and i was only at a 2 but the doc said to start pitocin at 630am. by 9am i was 3cm and my doc came and broke my water at 12noon i got the epi and had my girl at 348pm

@meganeileen6, I'm 40w 3d. I am in the same position you're in. Been a 1cm since 37 weeks. Ive been here over 24hrs already. They initially gave me visceral to slow down and space apart the contractions I was having. Along with IV fluids. Then started me on "miso-something" that took 6 hours and did nothing for me. At all. Then they gave me another dose of visceral and IV fluids for the same reason. Then inserted some liquid medication through my IV. That did nothing. Then at 3am finally put in my cervadil. Then they just took it out at 330. I'm a loose 2 tight 3. Well they didn't want to send me to L&D. They wanted to do another dose of visceral to slow down my contractions. Then an IV fluid. Then start me on another 12 hours of Cervadil and they wouldn't even check me in between. I had to be on it the full 12 hours!!!! And I only had a little bit to go. So I asked to speak to my midwife and then my midwife ended up speaking with the nurse and telling her I was fine to be sent down to labor and delivery. So now I'm waiting on a delivery room to say the least! It's nice to hear a story so similar to mine!!!!!

@meganeileen6, @livd15 in labor and delivery. They won't check me because I'm too early into labor still. Pitocin is in. Now we just wait wait and freaking wait.
