@jess_coff, they usually set up a day that you go down there and get them. you do have to stand in line so it's best to be one of the first to show up so you can get the good stuff lol you would just have to call them and ask when that day is. And I completely understand! i went through a similar situation right before my first daughter was born. its hard but you'll make it through just don't lose your faith ! the only way you can go once you hit rock bottom is up !!!!!!! things get better with time ! it's just making it through until it happens. Everything is going to seem to go wrong all at once and then one day everything takes a turn for the better just be patient(which I know is very hard, some days you probably have to force yourself out of bed,) but it's all worth it in the end !!!

@mgaera16, I've heard of toys for tots but I wasn't sure how to get any for my daughter. We're just having a hard time with my boyfriend being laid off from the railroad and unemployment only covers rent and bills. Thank god I have food stamps or idk what we would be doing for food.

look around your area there a places that can help with all of that. Here in Mansfield, oh there's a program through a place called Richland pregnancy(its kind of like planned parent hood except they are nicer and more religious but don't judge at all!!) . the program is called mom to mom. They set you up with someone in your area thats an experienced mom and every time you meet with them they give you these things called mommy bucks and you can take it into this little store they have and buy what ever you need ! it's all gently used bit very nice !! when they gave me a tour of the shop they had 2 very nice brand new still in the box carseats! they have maternity clothes baby blankets bottles onsies and they even have older children's clothing up to 2 or 3 years! And the best part about being set up with another mommy is you have another mommy to talk to!! everyone needs friends especially when you have kids and yours magically drop off the face of the earth lol There is also charities that allow you to come once a month or so and allow you to get so many clothing items for your self and your kids. Check with your local salvation army or good will. Idk if it's just a Mansfield thing or not but there is also a place called toys for tots that accept toys all year long and then give them away around the holidays. One year my friend got a very nice toddler cars bike for her 3 year old son ! you just have to do a little research and see what kind of help is available in your area!

Yes find Catholic Churches. They give food and diapers every sunday!

The food pantry and church's offer a lot of help and in Texas we have a 211 hotline I'm sure your state has something that helps you find facility's

look into cloth diapering...will save A LOT of money.
