does anyone jog while pregnant? i want to start working out again . i used to work out a lot about a year ago and stopped once i reached my goal weight. now that im pregnant ive been eating alot and gaining alot of weight so i want to start jogging again but im scared i might harm my baby. im 11 weeks
If you do, just prepare to have something punch your bladder every time you step down. I was jogging up until a few weeks before my third trimester but could not take it anymore. I felt like I was going to pee myself with every step hahaha
@angel268, I've worked out for years as part of my daily routine. In my first trimester I ran as normal but once I hit the second trimester I stopped. I spin 4 times per week and do light weights. When I walk in treadmill I feel pressure so unusually use the elliptical. Plan on incorporating walking in my last two weeks of pregnancy to assist in speeding up the labor process. Good luck and be careful, speak to your doctor and wear a heart rate monitor.
I exercised most of my pregnancy, up until a few weeks ago. I did mostly yoga & light weights. My Dr recommends exercise, but said no jogging.
@swtlilangl, she is 100% right just don't risk it and yes people have ran marathons BUT.. That's because they did not stop in the first place
take 2 ur dr ik u can walk or light light jog like speed walk lol
I ran half marathons up until 7 months preggo. Just make sure your heart rate doesn't go above 140 and that you hydrate and you should be fine.
You shouldn't jog unless you've always done it and not stopped. Since you took a break it would probably be better to power walk.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
On another note, make sure to start out slow! You could always start with a fast paced walk and eventually work up to a jog. But it's probably best not to go straight into jogging since you stopped for a while!
