My poor Duchess somehow got one of her nails caught in something while she was outside on the porch, and she ripped half her nail off 😢 I had just cut her nails so they weren't long, but I feel so bad 😕 I tried my hardest to find what she hurt it on so it doesn't happen again to her or the other dogs, but I have no idea what it could have been! She seems to be fine after some snuggles and playing with her teddy bear. She's walking on her paw, and the bleeding stopped. I cleaned it off and she's in her bed knocked out. She definitely won't be hanging out on the porch with the other pups for a couple days because I don't want it getting infected. I just feel soooooo bad 😞 My dogs are my babies and I don't like seeing them in pain. I seriously almost cried when she came up to me and showed me her paw😭

Put some Epsom salt in warm water and dip her paw in it and hold her until it's not so wet or else she will lick it off...will help her to heal faster and she's be outside playing in no time

That's happened to my dog also I cried with him...and after he stopped I kept crying...do it 2 times a day or when you can and it will be better I feel so sad for your doggy 😰

@jazmin805 Awww. She didn't really cry, she just looked at me with the saddest face ever and showed me what happened. Hit me right in the hormones. lol. I'll definitely go pick some epsom salt up tomorrow. And me too! She's acting like herself, but I know that has to hurt!

@sarahrachel0715 I'm so sorry about your dog. something similar happen to mine last night. she was playing on the bed with my nephew and her nail got caught in a thread from the comforter. she started screaming and my nephew was pulling the thread making it worse. I was so upset.

@gbaby Thanks. And awww poor baby. I hate when that happens. I try to keep blankets and stuff they can get caught on away from just because it hurts them even worse trying to get them untangled and I cannot stand seeing my babies in pain. I hope your fur baby is okay!
