I had my first consultant appointment today. I have had 3 c sections the last one was 16 years ago. the registrar told me today that the surgery for a 4th is very tricky, she said that I could end up with bowel damage and a colostomy and/or bladder damage and be operated on further resulting in a catheter for at least 2 weeks. she then told me if I chose to deliver naturally there was a high risk of uterine rupture and a hysterectomy. im now petrified either way when I'm sure in reality the likihood is that I'll be ok. feeling sad and worried now.
