don't worry! you can stay dilated for weeks and not go into labor. :)

I was dilated 2-3 cm at 33 weeks & my son was born at 36 & 2 no worries you can stay that way for weeks

My two oldest were in Newborn only a few weeks. My youngest was only 6 lbs at birth so he was in newborn longer
