WIC has breastfeeding classes...you should call your local center and get hooked up with one!

It's not suppose to be painful though way it is is if the latch is wrong and you can definitely do it don't let them debbie downers discourage u my mother was the same way asking me why and saying I was hard which it is soo hard but worth it for u and baby I sadly couldn't only breastfeed my son for 2 months I'm hoping to go longer with mu daughter def do research on ur hospital see if they have lactation nurses they are every helpful and if u have wic or planning on getting it they also have wonderful resources and u can get a free pump threw insurance

def try!! it was rough for me until my milk came in on day 3 but by day 5 it was uphill & has only gotten better!!! 👏😘

@kitaboo162016, my mil kinda thinks the same thing since I was unsuccessful with my son. He was formula fed but this time around I'm going to try breastfeeding again. Trying is better than not trying at all! I don't see how breastfeeding will hurt you. You do what you feel is best for you and baby don't worry about anyone else's opinions! (:

Nobody should try to talk you out of it! Even tho formulas fine breast milk is absolutely the best choice you can make for your baby (: I plan on breast feeding but I don't know anybody else who does and my family thinks it's weird and painful to. Try just googling about it and reading forums I've learned so much all on my own. Goodluck

breast feeding is natural and the best source of food for your baby. not to mention the bonding time you both experience. it is hard work, cant lie there but very beneficial. theres also a lot of heath benefits also with breastfeeding. take some time and do research on both breastfeeding and formula feeding. then when u have ur baby try it out. so do what's you feel is going to be best for u and ur baby

Unless your doctor has concerns, it won't hurt you. Also, you won't know if you can until you try. That's not a reason to give up from the start.
