Is it okay to ask about inducing a week early? I'm not even sure if I can ask that.

It's because my husbands parents live really far away. And really wanna be here for when she is born. And he wants them here too. I feel like I want her here on the 17th. So my husband can spend a week home instead of going there. Because that is the plan if we can't be induced. 🙄😔😓 @ajsmommy27 @butturfli @babycasey @shortizzie

That's why I asked for mine a week early, my bd works out of town 5 days a week. I didn't want him too miss. That was good enough reason for my doctor! Lol.
But I mean I am a ftm obviously so idk what hurts more or less I'm pretty sure either way labor is pretty darn painful lol! But I am four days away from my induction date and the contractions I am having naturally not from any type of induction or anything are KILLING me. But no pain no gain. 👶🏻💪🏻

being induced isn't any more painful than going on your own. I'm on baby #4, and with my first 2 I was induced, with one my water broke at the hospital and with the other they had to break it, and my 3 baby my water broke early at home. So I've experienced it all and I can't say one was more difficult than the other. This time around I'm due the 18th and being induced on the 11th, that being 39wks. @shortizzie @ajsmommy27 @mama2dlt

@babycasey, @ajsmommy27 I'm a first time mommy too! And i have a while to go. But should I ask sooner than later so my doctor knows that's what I REALLY want to do.

I'd say yes, just put it out there that way when the time comes your Dr already has an idea of what you want.
