if I'm planning to breastfeed should I still buy bottles? & if so what kind?? it's all so confusing, I'm almost 28 weeks…

I'm planning to breastfeed but I still got 3 4oz bottles so when I pump my SO can feed him.

I use parents choice and avent

ok thank you! what brand? I've registered at a cpl place and they gave me bottles so I have 3- 4 oz bottles as well, 2 avent and one mam, are these good bottles or should I go for something else? @maliksmommie

If your also planning on pumping then I would get a few bottles. That way if you have someone watch him/her they could still have breast milk. I like Dr. Browns, Avent, and Tommee Tippee. They help with the baby not get air bubbles when drinking from a bottle. Therefore less spit up, trapped gas etc. I would get at least 2-3 different kinds to see which one your little one would like best for when the time comes.

i only have Dr. Browns, I'm not sure how they work considering I'm a FTM but I've only heard good reviews

@azmommy85, awesome! thank you! bottles are so confusing so I guess since I already have 2- 4 oz Avent bottles, I will go and get a cpl Dr brown bottles and see which one she likes best, bc even if she doesnt want to latch on, I'll pump for her. but I really hope she latches on, I will be the only one watching her for a while, but I could always pump and let her daddy feed her sometimes, but if she latches good, then I don't want to pump all the time.

My daughter likes these ones the best lol the nipple is thin on the Dr browns and my daughter would gag, otherwise they have really good reviews too!

You're welcome Hun. I'm sure you'll get her to latch on. It takes a little time but you'll get it. You can always see a lactation consultant too if you have any problems too. Make sure you get a lot of nipple cream as well and put it on after every feeding. @wrd2016

honestly its whatever your little one likes, I had to go through 3 different brands before LO was content. He end up liking the Playtex air vent bottles, I've used Dr. brown bottles before with my other baby,.also advent are good too. there's so many choices:-)

Yes. Just in case breastfeeding doesn't work or if you end up pumping. My son loves the Philips Avent Natural bottles. He hates Tommee Tippee because the nipple collapses easily.

I have a few avent 4oz bottles I think I'm going to use those or Dr brown for when I do pump.
