So, my MIL just underwent abdominal surgery at the same hospital where I chose to give birth and I'm so terrified! They treated her so poorly, I just wanted to cry! They didn't even make an attempt to keep up with her medicine and help her to restroom until my fiancé and I got there (and it was still like pulling teeth, trying to get them to care for her). I'm so disgusted that I want nothing to do with that hospital but I'm already 29 weeks today, does anyone know if there's a possibility for me to switch hospitals still, although it's so late?

honestly keep in mind that on normal labor and delivery floors the nurses don't usually have more then 2 or 3 patients on those adult floors the nurse could have 4 or more patients at a time sometimes.. every floor in the hospital is different ask for a tour of L&D and see if you can ask the staff questions and see what it's like. ask them how many patients they have each and express your concerns like these before you decide to switch

Thank you mammas, and @mrsschutte1323 I know but I kind of don't want to risk it

Keep in mind that all of the nurses and doctors she saw will not be the same ones seeing you.

@el416, You'll need to find out if your doctor has privileges and any other hospitals and then you shouldn't have a problem switching

You should still be able to. The problem would be finding a hospital your dr delivers at
