my mom is making me go get a pap smear test, please tell its not as scary as my imagination is making it >.< shes giving me a new doctor and is her old doctor a male and im freaked out. i told her she wasn't allowed to be in there at the same time she got mad. but please please please tell me its not as scary as i think ;-;
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
my baby daddy's ex wife works at the hospital I'm having my daughter she is just a cleaning lady she tell me they let her move the babies around I'm scared this women will take my baby she even tells me if I have my baby early she could see her ever day .. my doctor only delivers at this hospital I don't know what to do . this is why I don't want to have my baby early ..
I am sick to death of my in laws telling me how fat Scarlett is, and asking me what I feed her! Does she look fat to you? No!
FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.

it's not bad at all I just had one at 36 weeks, it can be uncomfortable but not usually it's like literally 2 seconds

My mom respected that I didn't want her in the room for that stuff since it was a very private thing, so she always stayed out, and honestly they're mostly uncomfortable and awkward, than painful or anything else, usually fairly quickly too

It didn't hurt at all for me. It all depends on the doctor! It felt uncomfortable but I wasn't in any sort of pain.

Btw childbirth will be way worse than a Pap smear. This is nothing. Get ready for a long road ahead.

It's not bad at all but sometimes it's cold.. Depending on you doc. Also if you're not comfortable with a male dr. Tell them!! Doesn't matter if he thinks he's great or not! If you're not comfortable say it. Also you have every right for your mom to not be in the room.

It's part of being pregnant. You're going to have at least two throughout your pregnancy. And then when you get closer to having the baby the dr is gonna be down there quite a bit.

@teenmommytobe, it's really not too bad, like the other women said you'll feel pressure and it goes by pretty quickly. It's not comfortable either but just breathe and relax :) I have a male doctor I've had for years and he's wonderful, I'd choose him over anyone any day! So don't worry too much about that either. You will probably have a female nurse or medical assistant in there helping the doctor too. You'll be just fine!

It's not that bad. And the doctors are usually pretty fast at it, it'll hurt a little bit but it's mainly pressure.

well that's what comes with mother hood good luck lol and hey I had a baby and still hate those pap smears but it will be over before you know it. they come with being sexually active you don't want to have any diseases or cervical cancer without knowing

They use plastic ones now. It's a little uncomfortable but one of the responsibilities that comes along with having sex. Put on your big girl panties, it will be done with before you know it.

it goes by quick. they just check to make sure everything looks right and may take a culture. but it'll go by fast just don't go in there nervous lol @teenmommytobe trust me its not bad

its not and I've had female and male doctors do paps on me. its just pressure but it doesn't hurt at all
