my stepdaughter does this too, the dentist suggested a custom mouthpiece to help her stop. she got to put glitter in the silicone stuff and it hooks under her tongue so she can't swallow it. she loves it. might want to see about something like that? grinding teeth can lead to a lot of pain, teeth problems and tmj.
