My doctor recommended nipple stimulation to - hopefully - help me dilate, and I can definitely feel the contractions they're bringing on. Not painful, more like intense braxton bucks with mild cramping.. Praying I'm at least somewhat dilated by Sunday 🙏

Just so you know there's a lot of women who don't have contractions. They have intense Braxton hicks and period cramping and back labor.. You should make sure to call labor and delivery or your doctor so they know what's going on. They might tell you to come in and get checked.
Had my cervix checked (at hospital) on Sunday 1cm dilated.... go today my doc says I’m not dilated at all . Ummmmmmmmm 🤷🏾 ♀
How do you know if you are dilated? Does your water have to break so you can be dilated? I'm 38 weeks and I still don't feel labor stuff lol
Contraction questions I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.
Dilated to 8cm 😬

@mrsschutte1323, They're not consistent and it's only while I'm stimulating and a few minutes after I'm done.. But If they keep coming after I'm done and get more consistent I'll call them and let them know.
