Are there any moms on here that found out around 13 weeks what they were having or givin and idea ?…

I don't think you usually find out until 20 or 22 weeks. Unless you want to pay extra money for different tests. I have choose to just wait because one of the tests people have been doing is kind of dangerous. The test for like down sydrome and such? It only has a 1% chance of miscarriage, but to me any chance is not worth it and I would much rather wait...

Genitals don't finish developing until 18-20 weeks. They can usually tell you around 15 but they can be wrong. I know there is a blood test you can get early on that will tell you, but it can be expensive depending on insurance.

I did by accident but sometimes it's wrong. I knew I was having a boy though so I knew it was right

With my first at 14 weeks they said it looked like a girl and confirmed it at 19 weeks

There giving me a test called panorama it's solely for gender and it's 99.9% accurate and Medicade is paying for it

Alls they do is draw some blood so there's no harm to the baby :) and it takes about 2 weeks for your results to come in but it's worth itv

just FYI the panorama is not solely a gender test. it's a DNA test to check for abnormalities that also reveals gender, but it's done to check for a healthy baby and not just for gender. usually not covered by insurance unless you're considered high risk and they usually don't even offer it unless you're older or higher risk. @kmichele19

I found out the sex at 15 weeks and confirmed at 19+ weeks. it was $50 at an elective ultrasound place.

Oh well that's just how my doctor described it to me and insurance is different in every state
