I came home after confirming I was pregnant balling while handing him his lunch and he asked what was wrong and I told him I found out I was pregnant and he goes "oh I expected this with in the next year or so!!"

I was really nervous too.... I just couldn't find the words to say to him so I just gave him the sonogram and at first he was really concerned but then he realized he was going to have his first blood related grandchild and he was all in tears and we cried together for a few minutes. Now ironically he's the one that's the easiest to talk to about everything and does whatever he can for his soon to be grandson.

When I told my dad, all he said was "yup". I was terrified of disappointing him, because not even a few weeks before I told him, he was telling me that I'm smart for waiting to have kids. "Yup" is a good thing from him lol. You should just tell your dad! :)

I told him over the phone. We don't live in the same country so.. He was so pissed but nevermind atleast he knows.

try and put a positive spin on it. something like "I know this isn't the plan you had for me, but I hope you can continue to support and guide me so that I can be as good of a parent as you've been to me."

I just don't want to disappoint him. it's just a really scary thought to lose my dad over being pregnant

honestly, just tell him. hey dad I'm pregnant. there's not much else to do. I know it's scary, trust me. I was petrified to tell my dad.

I told mine lastnight. I went and got a little jewelry box and put the test inside. I told him first then showed them what was in the box after i seem their shocked look. lol dont be afraid. I was too worried and they were super happy! Good luck! I posted a pick of the box if you wanna take a look.. just an idea

well he didn't want me pregnant till I was married and I was on birth control. I feel like I shouldn't tell him until I'm past the first trimester

I honestly just told him "dad I'm pregnant"
