why are people being induced when they not even atleast 39-40 weeks Preggo? I'm just like so curious 👀👀👀 ...like I know some people have health risks and stuff like that but I hope others aren't just doing it just because they don't want to pregnant or impatient or something ...my doctor not inducing me till 41 (don't know why) he just gave me a date to be induced ...even I've been kinda iffy on the idea myself!
@shannonb95, Yea but like I said some people have to due to medical problems ..so I understand your situation
@shannonb95, I wish you and baby the best. An induction for medical reasons is absolutely respected. Just these impatient mamas who don't want to be pregnant for whatever trivial reason.
Idk about the people that get induced so early but I'll be induced at week 39 because of being Type 1 Diabetic. I'll have to have doctors there to monitor me really closely since I'm very brittle. But I have no clue why anyone would get induced earlier, unless they have preeclampsia or the doctor sees that the baby's not growing anymore
I see them all the time. "IT'S MY BABY AND I KNOW MY BODY." "I KNOW WHAT I WANT AND I'M GONNA DO IT."
@tayek, I agree
I seen this one girl on here who was being induced for no reason ....
They're impatient. But they're usually the same ones who complain about every symptom, only to end up complaining about how they're having a hard time dealing with a newborn OR sadly, the babies are sick from being forced out early.
Also, I was induced and had a natural birth so it is totally possible. Not a guarantee that there will be interventions. You ladies will do great !! :) @ms.sadelove @poohbear4608
Induction is wonderful when it's needed! After 41 weeks, at least you know they tried to let you go natural! It's annoying when they do it for their convenience or for the mom's imo.
I think he don't want me to wait another week because that's around thanksgiving but I feel like he gave me till 41 because he probably have plans and stuff around that time because he gave me the 22nd he was like he'll be here before thanksgiving
@ligermama, I agree I go to the Drs. Tuesday but at my last appointment he told me he might have me do NST if I didn't go into labor by my next appointment and I said okay ....and I'm not trying to be induced ....I rather go into labor naturally
There are so many misconceptions regarding induction. Lots of doctors will do it if the mom is whining and wants to get it over with. But it is so irresponsible for a doctor to do that. It increases your risk of csection and also hyper labor which can be very dangerous. It makes me crazy that doctors will make such a crazy decision. A good provider will have you wait! But there is a point in which it can become dangerous to go too late. 42 weeks is about as far as you can go without risking the baby (the fluid gets too low and the placenta can begin deteriorating) and that's a proper time to induce. Once you go over a doctor should be moniotring you closely with ultrasounds and NST! I was "induced" at 41+4 with just dialation gel, they sent me home and I gave birth a few hours later :) Good luck!
Well I have to get inducted because my blood pressure is trying to high and my doctor don't want to wait around and it gets worse or something bad happens I got in on Tuesday evening my due date is Wednesday the 18 so I probably want have him until his date or maybe after cause I have so signs of labor but idk how inducted goes so idk if it going to be fast or slow but he's very comfortable in the womb
