Wait....TMI....I just went to the bathroom and noticed I have ALOT of very sweet smelling thick white discharge. I felt it come out when was laying down and just expected it to be that little amount that I'm used to, but I didn't expect to see that much. I heard that amniotic fluid smells sweet. This couldn't be amniotic fluid mixed with discharge could it? It's not watery or tinted, but man this scared me because I'm not even 24 weeks yet 😩

If you're worried, call your doctor or go in to the ER. You just never want to chance it!

I don't feel worried....just mostly curious. I would be worried if I was cramping or contracting. This just took me for a shock.

I had this yesterday. It wasn't a lot but it was creamy and super sweet like vanilla. It was strange.

I get it all the time. it's nothing to worry about. it's normal discharge for some women. my doctor hasn't said anything about it so I just don't pay attention to it anymore

I think it's just hormonal changes. It did cross my mind that amniotic fluid smells sweet but I'm not leaking actual fluid, it was just a bit of discharge I wouldn't have even noticed except I was shaving in a mirror haha. I'm sure it's normal. I'll probably ask my dr about it at my next appointment.
