Okay so I finally got to have a long conversation with my husband. We got to FaceTime for an hour and a half! He's supposed to be home sometime next week. His being gone on the road is so hard! Sooo looking forward to seeing him. I'm waiting toll he gets home to do a confirmation test with a digital one since my first response one was so faint on the second line. Wanting him to be here for the elation or the tears..whichever comes. Wondering, how long did everyone wait to tell your families you were expecting? We are thinking about waiting till Christmas so we will be mostly through first trimester but it'll be hard to not spill the beans at Thanksgiving if we get a second bfp next week.

With my first 4 pregnancies I waited until after the first dating scan to announce so 8 weeks but with this pregnancy I announced at almost 15 weeks because of a miscarriage in February. I wanted to wait until we knew the gender but with it being my 6th pregnancy I started showing pretty quick so people started noticing my bump.
They say you're usually out of the woods by 12 weeks
According to what I've dated with online calculators Christmas will be about week 11. So I guess that'll work. So nervous/excited! I'm going to be so crushed if we get a negative next week after the crazy faint positive I got this week. But I promised no more testing till he gets home. It's going to be so hard waiting to confirm!!!!
