At my high risk Drs appointment last week I had a meltdown bc my mental health is really deteriorating tremendously and my perinatologist suggested I discuss my midwife inducing me at 37 weeks bc of the state of my mental health...I called my psychiatrist and he put me on Paxil, well I took it for three days and honestly felt like I was dying so I had to stop it immediately...so I have my 36 week appointment on weds with my midwife so I guess induction discussion is about to be real! As much as I don't want to be induced I honestly don't believe it's healthy for her or me if she stays put any longer! I suffer from a variety of mental illnesses so I need back on my meds asap! I have two older daughters that I'm raising on my own who depend solely on me and it's imperative I be able to care for them to the best of ability and it's to the point I'm barely making it work! My baby will be in the nicu for a week at the least but as long as a month...please pray for my baby girl 👑🎀💕

@braylinsmommy, 👍🏼. 👶🏻 37 weeks is early term so it's very possible that you could take your baby home with you when you get discharged. Plus if your doctor knows your medical history they can give you the steroid shots to mature the lungs quicker, although I'm not sure when they stop doing it because your baby will be "term" anyway.
just because baby is early doesnt mean she will be in there for a week or ever many moms take there baby home with them at 37 weeks😊 , see if you can get the shot that will help with babies lungs just incase , and you gotta do whats best for you and baby thats all that matters ☺ dont worry you got this 😊 keep me updated
